In response to the Global Pandemic Classification, the fact that the State of Maryland has declared a State of Emergency relating to Covid-19, and the demographic of our members, we are cancelling the March 19-22, 2020 Spring District Meeting and FCIDD meetings in Frederick, Maryland. Information about the possibility of holding the meeting(s) on-line will be forthcoming.
- Please make sure to cancel your reservation with the hotel immediately to ensure no fees are charged to your personal credit cards. Hampton Inn Frederick’s phone number (301) 698-2500. Make sure to write down the cancellation number that you receive.
- If you have written a check for your meeting registration, rest assured that your check has not and will not be cashed. All checks will be shredded. If you prefer that your check be returned to you, please let Jo Ann know as soon as possible.
- All credit card payments will be refunded
- We are diligently working with the hotel to avoid any cancellation fees.
In the meantime, please make sure that you are taking all necessary precautions if your club will be holding any local service projects or meetings, and exercise your best judgment regarding the necessity of in-person events for the next few weeks.
